Future Skills required a comprehensive platform that encompasses a company profile, landing pages, a Learning Management System (LMS), data collectors, and talent management—all seamlessly integrated into one ecosystem.
Before partnering with Tonjoo, Future Skills relied on a third-party LMS. As the number of tenants grew and the market demand for more flexible learning models increased, the existing system could no longer accommodate the growing complexity. Real challenges emerged that needed immediate resolution, including limitations in customization, multi-tenant management, and the need for cross-platform integration. Consequently, Future Skills teamed up with Tonjoo to design a solution capable of supporting structured, innovative, and sustainable platform growth for the future.
In response to these needs, Tonjoo built a flexible and scalable platform architecture. The main Future Skills website was developed using an SEO-optimized Custom WordPress setup. Behind the scenes, Tonjoo built the learning and data management systems using a separate technology stack, leveraging Laravel connected through APIs. This allowed the LMS, participant data management, and talent management systems to interlink smoothly within a clean, integrated ecosystem.
This approach was specifically engineered for high-complexity, large-scale websites, with its primary strength lying in a multi-tenant LMS powered by a single source code. This means the exact same codebase can be reused for each new tenant. With this reuse technique, Future Skills was able to scale rapidly, serving nearly 20 tenants in just two years. The deployment and maintenance processes have also become significantly faster and more manageable as the platform continues to expand.
The results are evident on the Future Skills website, which now accommodates hundreds of thousands of participants spread across more than 10 active tenants. Each tenant can independently manage users, training materials, and learning activities within a structured system.
In this position, Future Skills acts not only as a content provider but also as a digital learning infrastructure provider, ready for use by various organizations and training program coordinators. With the right technological foundation, expanding to new tenants can be achieved without disrupting the stability of the active system.
