Yogyakarta, August 1, 2024 – WordPress successfully hosted the WordPress Meetup Yogyakarta, Indoneisa, focusing on the theme Page Builders for Creating Corporate Websites and Business Catalogs.

Despite being held outside regular office hours from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the enthusiasm of the participants remained undiminished. The WordPress Meetup, designed as a talk show, attracted over 40 attendees.

Participants came from diverse backgrounds, including students, entrepreneurs, and professionals engaged in the WordPress sphere. This event also served as a platform for networking within the WordPress community.

The discussion at the WordPress Meetup Yogyakarta was divided into two sessions, each focusing on different topics. The first session covered Page Builder Gutenberg for Corporate Websites.

The speaker for the first topic was Fabianus Yayan, a Senior WordPress Developer from Tonjoo. Yayan brings extensive experience in developing corporate websites using Gutenberg WordPress.

The second topic focused on Creating Business Catalogs with Elementor, presented by Lukman Bagus, the Head of Development at Nevaweb.

Lukman shared his extensive experience in developing business websites using the Elementor page builder. His discussion covered the prerequisite skills needed to develop business websites with Elementor and how Elementor can help SMEs enhance their business through effective catalog creation.

The talk show was moderated by two representatives from Tonjoo: Kevin Alan KS, who addressed technical WordPress issues, and Moch. Nasikhun Amin, who fielded questions from newcomers to WordPress.

At the end of each session, both speakers demonstrated practical use cases of Gutenberg and Elementor, providing attendees with concrete examples of the concepts discussed.

Tonjoo and its partner began developing the meetup concept in July 2024. Despite the brief preparation period, the well-developed concept ensured the event was executed smoothly.

The process involved intensive discussions between the Tonjoo and DomaiNesia teams, covering topic selection, speaker choices, publication plans, and technical execution.

The content delivered was meticulously prepared to address issues faced by WordPress users, ranging from beginners to experienced professionals.

The WordPress Meetup is a locally organized community event, and this particular meetup marked its 15th edition. The Yogyakarta Meetup has been running for eight years, since its inaugural event in June 2017.

Previously, Tonjoo has actively organized WordPress Meetups on various themes, from SEO to Gutenberg, either independently or in collaboration with other partners.
